eKapa Squash
eKapa Squash is a development programme that allows children from Cape Town townships an opportunity to play the game of squash. It is an initiative directed by Siyoli Waters. Learners are transported to attend weekly sessions in the Claremont and Rondebosch area.
These young players are dedicated, and we dedicate ourselves to allow them to play to all levels of their capabilities. Many have gone on to represent Western Province Youth teams from u11 to u19 age groups.
Partner with us by sponsoring squash lessons for the best players, in order for them to receive the focused attention they deserve and cannot afford.

Shoestring Development Program & Squash Academy
The Shoestring Development Program has been running for seven years and is coordinated by Rodney Durbach and Teresa Lategan at Fish Hoek Squash Club.
Currently the program is run twice a year for eight weeks at a time with children from local schools and NGO’s. We cater for beginner and intermediate students between the ages of 6 and 16 using donated rackets and shoes.
We kicked off 2021 with 70 students attending our first clinic in mid-March, followed by a WP Squash sponsored 8- week program that commenced in mid-April.
We are looking to extend this to four times a year but require the necessary funding. Kindly contact us if you would like to support these programmes.
