El Hammamy reaches #4 in PSA Women’s World Rankings (Nov 2021)

Egypt’s Hania El Hammamy has reached a career-high ranking of World No.4 after the release of the November PSA Women’s World Rankings.

The 21-year-old reached the final of the U.S. Open last month and she overtakes France’s Camille Serme, who drops to #5. Nour El Sherbini stays at World #1 for the 13th month in succession ahead of U.S. Open champion Nouran Gohar at #2 and USA’s Amanda Sobhy at #3.

Diego Elias has become the first Peruvian to reach the world’s top five, in the PSA Men’s World Rankings for November.

24-year-old Elias, from Lima, made history in October as he became the first Peruvian to win a PSA World Tour Platinum event – the Qatar QTerminals Classic – while he also reached the semi finals of the U.S. Open presented by Truist.

As a result, Elias has risen three spots to a career-high No.5 ranking, while Ali Farag has made it 23 months in total at World #1. Mohamed ElShorbagy stays at #2, with Qatar Classic runner-up Paul Coll and Tarek Momen remaining at #3 and #4.
